One week old and just hanging out in my green hoodie.

Busy day

Big day, lots of visitors. Got her first bath and wasn't happy about it.

Day 6

Ready to roll and waiting for spring. Went for our 3rd bilirubin check up and everything is normal, need to go in Thursday for a last test as a confirmation of the 3rd. Appetite is picking up and she is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time. Love having this forum to share pictures and info with family and friends.

Day 5

Went for her first doctors visit and everything is fine. Gained 2 oz since leaving the hospital. As suggested we will try to post a picture of her with her stuffed animal monthly to show how big she is getting. Also got her first pair of shoes today. Her favorite place as of right now is in the swing that Aunt Beth and Uncle Blake got her.

Here is little Anastasia with Grandma and Grandpa Thurston and Grandma and Grandpa Patchak. Also some pics of her room which we just finished today. Since she arrived so soon her room was not quite ready. When we got home from the hospital there were just stacks of baby items everywhere. It's quite an improvement in 24 hours. Our dogs, Killian and Meadow, are adjusting. Meadow is like mommy #2. Killian is very jealous. Tomorrow is our first visit with the peditrician.

Day 3 "HOME"

Baby Day

Happy new year and happy birthday.

Today was the day our daughter joined our lives. Mom's water broke at 10:30am, she called the doctor and he told her to come in. We arrived at the hospital about 11:45am and at 12:52pm we had a baby girl. Anastasia Elizabeth Patchak 5lbs 6oz and 17 1/2" long. She was 25 days early but is healthy and doing fine, as well as her mom.
